One Feeds Two
Posted by: JP Campbell 7 months, 1 week agoTurning off the main road from our hotel, tarmac became mud and sewage while dilapidated apartments became corrugated iron stalls the further we got into the slum. Carcasses of meat hanging in butcher’s windows, traditional music playing, flies swarming around the vegetables, women chatting as they got their hair braided, cages crammed with chickens, and the smell of waste. Where we expected stillness and sorrow, we encountered noise and community.
